APN Settings - No Internet and Can't Send MMS

No Internet or Can't Send MMS Messages?

If your mobile device can't connect to the internet or you can't receive MMS messages from others, then you probably have an APN issue, and you will need to enter correct APN settings.

What are APN Settings?

APN or Access Point Name is a gateway between mobile networks frequently used by the public internet, the mobile networks are;

  • GPRS
  • 3G
  • 4G

A mobile device attempting to make a data connection will need to be configured with the correct APN to present to the carrier.

The carrier will then determine what kind of network connection needs to be created, for example; if it should be connected to a private network and what type of security it needs.

How Do I Get APN Settings?

There are many applications on the internet and app stores that offer to enter your APN settings automatically, and in our experience, an application called Tweakker is the most reliable.

You can find this by searching for it on the Google Play Store and running the application when prompted on-screen.
