The Apple Watch Series 1 38mm is the second release in the range of smartwatches from Apple. For anyone wanting to purchase a first-time smartwatch, or enjoy a new upgrade that’s brimming with features, you’ve got it all with this device.

It’s been built with a 340 x 272-pixel, OLED capacitive touchscreen display and a 3D touch display. It has a glass front, composite plastic back, and an aluminium frame that can be selected in a range of colour options:

• Space Grey
• Rose Gold
• Gold 

This device has been fitted with Apple’s watchOS and a dual-core 520 MHz Cortex-A7 CPU. There’s also 8GB of internal storage and 512MB RAM. 

Other standout features that the Apple Watch has are the splash-resistant construction, Ion-X glass, retina display with Force Touch, and a digital crown. Sensors come in the form of a heart rate sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer, as well as an ambient light sensor. There’s also a speaker and microphone built-in too. 

Connectivity features installed on this device are Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz), and Bluetooth 4.0. The battery is a non-removable Li-Ion 205 mAh version.
