Released in 2018, the Mi 8 comes with a sleek, ultra-thin body with a glass front and back, including a vivid 6.21-inch full-screen Super AMOLED HD display.

With edge-to-edge visuals and a small notch at the top, the device is styled in a similar way to all the latest smartphones and has a beautiful screen to match.

The AI dual 12MP camera comes with a range of features that are perfect for professional photographs, as is the 20MP selfie camera.

It is charged via a USB Type-C, which is the standard for all modern devices.

It is worth noting that the Mi 8 does not have a traditional headphone jack, although you will be able to connect Bluetooth headphones wirelessly.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with the MIUI operating system, similar to other Chinese smartphones.

This means that you’ll be able to download all your favourite apps with no issue.

The device’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor is more than enough to handle modern smartphone tasks, including streaming HD video, browsing multiple apps and doing work on-the-go.

As with other high-end smartphones, there is no card slot in the Mi 8 to extend the device’s storage.

The phone also comes with IR face unlock, fingerprint scanning and Android Pay support, for extra control and usability throughout the day.
