HTC’s Windows Phone 8S brought something new to the fore that rivalled many of their existing devices.

The 480 x 800 pixel, S-LCD capacitive touchscreen display and plastic body serve up an appealing start to the handset’s array of existing features.

Four colour options are on offer, including:

• Domino
• Fiesta Red
• Atlantic Blue
• High-Rise Grey

A 5MP, LED flash camera provides users with the main, rear-facing camera, while a jack port has been installed for plugging in headphones, and a micro USB port option allows for smooth charging of the handset.

The Windows Phone 8S comes with an Android operating system, 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for expandable storage and 512MB RAM.

You also get a Dual-core 1.0 GHz Krait CPU as standard.

HTC went with three sensor features in this device:

• Compass
• Proximity
• Accelerometer

You get up to 570 hours of charge time with its removable Li-Ion 1230 mAh battery as well.
