HTC released this upgraded version of the Wildfire in 2011 and brought with it some welcome additions.

A 320 x 400 pixel, TFT capacitive touchscreen display encased by a plastic body, kick off the first of this phone’s specs.

A 5MP, LED flash main camera on the rear takes care of image-capturing needs while a micro USB port facilitates the charging of the handset and a regular jack port gives you headphone connectivity as well.

The Wildfire S provides Android OS, 512MB of internal storage and 512MB RAM. Additionally, a CPU consisting of a 600 MHz ARM 11 has also been installed.

HTC went with three sensor features in this device:

• Compass
• Proximity
• Accelerometer

You get up to 570 hours of charge time with its removable Li-Ion 1230 mAh battery as well.
